Switch from iPhone to Galaxy S5? Here’s What You Need to Do

Option 1: Samsung Smart Switch
Samsung has designed a free tool - Smart Switch that enables you to easily transfer data from iCloud backups to Galaxy S5. All you need to do is follow these four simple steps:

1. Back up all content like contacts, photos, text messages, calendar, bookmarks, etc. on your old iPhone to iCloud.
2. Head over to the Play Store on your Galaxy S5 to install the Samsung Smart Switch Mobile app.
3. Run the app, select iOS Device > Import from iCloud. Then enter your Apple ID and choose the backup you want to restore to your S5.
4. Finally, select the content you wish to transfer and tap Let's start the transfer. The app will alert you once the transfer is finished.

Option 2: AT&T Mobile Transfer
AT&T Mobile Transfer is also a free app that can help do the transfer. With it, you can move data from iPhone to Galaxy S5 directly through the two devices, no computer required.

1. Download, install and run AT&T Mobile Transfer on both your iPhone and Galaxy S5.
2. On your iPhone, select From this phone, while on your Galaxy S5, select To this phone.
3. Connect iPhone and Galaxy S5 by scanning the QR code, then click Next to begin the transfer.
